One of Ruvo's most popular and well-proven machines, the Model 1400 saves time and money for the competitive pre-hung door supplier.

The Casing Assembly Table avoids the use of a hammer to insert nails with the consequent possibility of damage to casing.

Using two powerful air cylinders, clamp nails are driven into pre kerf-cut casings.   (Casing is pre-mitered and kerfed automatically with the
Ruvo Models 855 or 855SPL Casing Miter and Kerf Saws.)

The Model 1400 is designed for one relatively unskilled operator to assemble casing 'A' frames.

The Ruvo Model 1400 is manufactured for three adjustable door header capacities - 3 feet, 4 feet or 6 feet.  All models will accept casing up to 8 feet long.

The operator sets two easily adjustable stops for the side members and turns a handwheel to set the desired header width.  The three pieces of casing are taken from the stock rack and placed in position.  After inserting two clamp nails in the drive units the operator raises a valve lever.  This actuates the pneumatic clamping and automatically inserts the two clamp nails without splitting the material.   Re-activation of the lever unclamps the 'A' frame for removal to the stock cart.
