405 Hinge Jamb & Door Routing Machine

The Ruvo 405 Hinge Jamb
and Door Mortising Machine is used to mortise
the Door and Hinge Jamb for hinge preparation.
The 405 will mortise for two, three, or four
hinges up to a 9' Door and Jamb. The 405 will
work on split or flat jambs with or without
applied stops.
The door and hinge jamb is clamped in place, the first hinge position is routed automatically and the machine advances the hinge jamb and door to the next preset hinge location. The machine operator will then attach the first hinge while the Ruvo 405 automatically mortises the second hinge position. The setup of the hinge position is accommodated by using a stop bar to set for 6'8" to 9'0" doors and jambs. The Ruvo 405 is a very economical machine with a small foot print of less than 11'. This will allow for smaller shop foot prints.
