At the request of numerous customers Triad has developed
a new product for light-commercial/residential steel
panelization---Triad’s Vertical Transport Rack (VTR).
Due to the various gauges of panels shipped by light-gauge
steel panelizers, most panels are shipped vertically. The
Vertical Transport Rack provides a means to manage panels for
stacking/banding/loading/ shipping vertically instead of horizontally.
Triad’s Vertical Transport Rack has expandability from 8’
to 16’ (standard); however, custom sizes are available upon
request. The number of panels that can be placed on the rack is
variable due to 2x4 or 2x6 framing, sheathing thickness, etc. Panels are
staged on the rack; the full unit is banded and placed as a complete unit on
the trailer for transport to the job-site. The entire unit can be left
on-site or unloaded and the rack sent back to the plant for reloading.
Triad’s Vertical Transport Rack breaks down easily for
return or can be left as an up-right piece. Built-in fork pockets make for
easier handling.
